PREDECESSOR is a herbicide consisting of three active ingredients (Imazetapyr, Flumioxazim and Diclosulam), giving effective control to the main weeds that affect crops. The imazetapyr grants a high residual power that, when absorbed by the foliar and root routes, allows the control of emerged weeds as well as those that germinate after their application. It works by interrupting protein synthesis at weed growth points. Once applied, it stops weed growth. Flumioxazim works by inhibiting the enzyme protoporphinogen oxidase (PPO) blocking the biosynthesis of chlorophyll, resulting, by the action of solar energy, in an accumulation of porphyrin photo toxins that cause cell death.
