DESEKTOR is a contact and systemic herbicide consisting of the mixture of two active ingredients (Glyphosate and Ammonium Glufosinate). The first has systemic action, is absorbed by green leaves and stems and translocated towards the roots and underground vegetative organs, causing the total death of the emerged weeds. While Ammonium Glufosinate has a contact action. It inhibits the action of Glutamino Synthetase, the enzyme responsible for the synthesis of Glutamine, producing a marked disorder in the physiological processes of cells due to a high concentration of Ammonia in them, while significantly inhibiting photosynthesis. Both compounds are non-selective, post emergence to weeds, a characteristic that confers high weed control that is difficult to control for fallow application with large weeds.
