ACTIVATOR is a broad-spectrum insecticide in the neonicotinoid family. Due to its systemic effect and water solubility, it is suitable for foliar and soil application. Due to its different mode of action, it effectively controls insects resistant to organophosphates, carbamates and pyrethroids. It is recommended for the control of sucking insects, coleoptera and mining insects in crops. ACTIVATOR is systemic, penetrates plant cells, and when consumed by the invading pest it produces neurotoxic reactions. It acts as an impediment to the feeding of insects on the plant. It is active in the stomach of insects and also by direct contact. In insects it acts, like other neonicotinoids, interfering with nerve transmission between neurons by binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors.
